Steve Almond is the author of ten books of fiction and non-fiction, three of which he published himself. This Won’t Take But a Minute, Honey , is composed of 30 brief stories, and 30 brief essays on the psychology and practice of writing. Bad Poetry and Letters from People Who Hate Me are exactly what they sound like. In October, Lookout Press will publish his third story collection, God Bless America.

Mark your calendar! More info to come soon. Sessions on fiction, poetry, non-fiction, free-lancing, social media and more. Quick Critiques will be back, too. The BWC is the Baltimore area's longest running, most comprehensive writers' conference. Please join us this year  in Towson University's new Liberal Arts building to celebrate our 20th year bringing writers together to talk, listen, learn, and laugh.
Co-sponsored by Towson University's Professional Writing Program and Johns Hopkins University Master of Arts in Writing Program.
